Dusty air enters on a tangent
The inlet box feeds the air into a spiral housing around the body, so it starts circling the bags straight away.
Heavy material drops out first
The spiral throws chips and coarse dust against the wall. They fall to the scraper bottom before they reach the bags.
Five rings, clean air out at the top
The bags hang in five rings from the tube sheet. Fine dust stays on the outside, and clean air rises inside them to the top section and out through the clean-air outlet.
A rotating arm cleans every bag
The PowerPulse® unit turns above the tube sheet, with one valve per bag ring. An air flow sensor measures the air speed at the bag outlets, and the ECOTROL® control adjusts the cleaning automatically. Documented power savings of up to 80% and 10% lower emissions.
The scraper sweeps the dust out
A 0.75 kW geared motor turns the scraper. It pushes the dust to the outlet, where a rotary valve feeds it out of the filter.
